Let me be frank with you. I thought it was just a joke. But it's still happening. Day 2. I'm in Tokyo, so I don't know the details about what they are doing in Kyoto, but I heard it's still on:
I'm hiding somewhere safe, but I'm getting concerned. I think Day 3, today, should be particularly hard. There's some "official" event scheduled; all too often, that sort of fake event is used as an excuse to suppress a true event in this country.
You should do something. Send money. Or send e-mail messages. Or make phone calls. Or include the word "Kyoto" in your next blog entry. Or just shout. Shout "Kyoto" when you shout for your own cause today in Seoul, New York, Paris, Fujisawa, London, the French island I don't even remember, wherever you may be.
